character design is a pretty big spectrum when it comes to what to do and what not to do so this is a little tricky with how little i was given to work with.
one thing i can say is think about what you want to design the character for:
- are you just practicing character-design and will not be giving the character any actual lore to go off of?
- or maybe you wish to use them full-time?
this question may be simple but it gives you a general overview of how to approach designing a character. use their lore to your advantage and/or as inspiration and a lead to what to include or the general "freedom" you can have with designing them.
if you're designing just to design i think you should use that to experiment with "riskier" character design tropes or things out of your comfort zone - give them features you usually avoid, draw something you consider more challenging, etc.
character design is a never-ending practice and there's always room for adjustments and improvements along the way :^)

hey so its a little weird ur advertising your tetratto account despite the fact its a heavy yumeship/selfship userbase site when you have that on dni and the dni on tqs because typing in all lowercase is one

Tbh I interpreted the plural fakeclaimers portion of your DNI as "all systems are 14 year olds with no formed concrete identity that want to be different" which IS on me and which is the reason I got that sort of reaction.
